Benefits of a summer (camp) riding child

Marin Mommies presents a sponsored shoutout from Marshall Hall Riding Academy in Nicasio.

When you introduce your child to horseback riding, you are giving them the opportunity to learn valuable life skills. Horseback riding helps support healthy physical and emotional growth and teaches children to work together, support friends and take on more responsibility.

Many people assume that riding does not require work on the part of the rider. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Your son or daughter will be outdoors sweating a healthy sweat and exercising during each lesson. Grooming horses, lifting tack, maintaining balance in the saddle improves muscle tone, strengthens the cardiovascular and respiratory systems while improving coordination.

Marshall Hall Riding Academy has created an extensive daily program that teaches children about responsibility, teamwork, and the history of horses and riding. All of our trainers are qualified instructors who enjoy passing on their experience and knowledge to others. The barn people are like a family.

Feel free to drop by the barn – or give us a call at (415) 686-5286… MHRA Founder Harleigh Marshall is happy to answer any questions you may have. The camp takes place at Kilham Farm, 3431 Nicasio Valley Road, Nicasio 94946.

“Back to basics to move them forward.”
